It is recommended that the DSP3© (not the PDA) be sent back to our factory (in the USA) once a year for precise calibration. Our customers will be reminded by email when the calibration date is near. Once the DSP3© is received, the unit is thoroughly inspected and calibrated by our skilled engineers. If repairs are required, the customer will be notified before any work is done. After the calibration is completed, the unit is shipped back with a dated digital certificate of calibration. Normal turnaround time is within 48 hours.

At DP2 LLC, we always maintain a stock of DSP3© units. In an unlikely event that your unit fails and you are working on a time-critical balancing project, simply send the unit back to our factory (in the USA) with a UPS, DHL or FedEx tracking number. We will immediately ship out a replacement unit to you. However, customers are advised to discuss the problems with our engineers prior to sending the unit back. Often times, the problems may be software in-nature whereby a software patch is merely required.

A lot of the functions and controls on the DSP3© unit is software driven. From time to time, there may be software fixes, features or valve database upgrade. Whenever there are critical software fixes, our customers will immediately be notified by email to receive the patches. Other times, we may have added advanced features that customers may find useful that they can purchase from us. In like manner, the valve database may expand over time as we are supporting many more valve makes and models. In any case, we will do our due deligence to notify our customers so that they are always informed.
